Jenn J Replied:
Is jojoba edible?
|

| |
Rjaatt Replied:
jojoba oil is edible but non-caloric and non-digestible, meaning the oil will pass out of the intestines unchanged. you can also eat the nuts that are found on the female variety of the plant, containing seed pods. The nut has a bitter flavor similar to an almond. Its nuts are eaten by bighorn sheep, deer, javelina and livestock, squirrels, rabbits, other rodents, and larger birds it inhibits hunger. Jojoba, with the botanical name Simmondsia chinensis, and also known as goat nut, deer nut, pignut, wild hazel, quinine nut, coffeeberry, and gray box bush, is native to Southwestern North America.

WOW. I knew the oil was used in cosmetics, but had no idea it was edible.

Now Understand this if one was to digest it, it would come out of your your body the same way it came into your body quick an fast. Its like Drinking Beet Juice, as fast as you drink it, as fast as it leaves the body the same color. LOL its like a laxative. So don't Drop it.. Hhaa haa. I'm so funny today.. Get it? it comes in Liquid Drops.. Haa haa.. Ok maybe its not that funny.... As long as the Sheep loves it and the squirrels and rabbits its a food. It doesn't have to be human food.
