Today's Tasks:
Do a conscious eating exercise with someone such as your spouse, a friend, or one of your children.
Intentionally create several distractions such as watching TV or having a conversation, but stay totally aware of your food intake.
Write a few sentences in your journal to describe what you learned from this experience.

I believe myself to be aware of food intake and enjoyment in most situations

Jenn J Replied:
There are times I can do that. There are times I fail. I think, for myself, that serving portions allows me more flexibility to multitask when eating. If I don't portion then I eat way to much. But if I know I have a portion I don't have to be focused on how much I am eating at one time.

Phyllis Replied:
This is my usual way of eating most of the time. As long as I have portions already on my plate or in a bowl, I can do fine.

Jenn J Replied:
Phyllis, I am the same. If I have the food planned I can do this.
