100 Days: Day 24: Eat for satisfaction

Today's Tasks:

Recall a food or type of meal that's usually highly satisfying for you.

Write a few words or sentences that describe how it feels to be satisfied by food.

Eat at least one thing today with the intention of feeling satisfied. Appreciate the food and allow yourself to feel totally fulfilled by eating it.

I feel that when I take my time and eat for satisfaction I am focused and in the zone. I enjoy every morsel --- healthy food or not. But when I am in food addict mode... the tastes don't really matter. The sweetness matters, the sugar matters. I taste nothing but the sweetness of the product. Except for ice cream, then I am feeling the pleasures of the coolness and texture. It is definetely an addiction to the 10th degree.

I do enjoy complex textures and healthy food so lets hope that I make those choices over sugar.

It's a struggle. We get programmed to want to salty, fatty, and sweet things. Breaking the pattern isn't easy but worth the work.
