Looks like jury duty is a go this morning, at least as far as showing up; I will make the most of the adventure. Hopefully I'll end up with most of the day to make a Whole Foods run, and take care of this and that on the home front. It's all good!

Yikes! I was there for EIGHT hours searching for the silver lining ; did not actually get chosen, but it was a very serious case that was expected to span several days at least, and involved grilling the group of 70 potential jurors that I was in. There was not opportunity to be released early from this group until the jury was chosen.
